As co-founding member of the Mendes Bothers, Mr. Mendes was also recognized by the Prime Minister of Cape Verde, Dr. José Maria Neves with a “Medal of Merit” for his invaluable contribution to the music of Cape Verde. Arezu Kaywanfar
At the age of 14 Arezu decided and wanted to become the youngest certified Kundalini yoga teacher, and to pass on this great knowledge to others of how yoga can enhance ones life. After having a profound experience during this one year training she decided to study abroad for a year in India. Studying at a yogic, international school, for her Tenth grade year. She is now back in LA, studying at the Archer School for Girls as a junior and has become dedicated to making a difference and helping those who suffer tremendously in developing countries such as Africa and India.
